Often the pencil sketch is lost beneath the finished artwork, but there is something so raw and exciting about seeing the first lines that form an image, the idea in it's purest form. I always ensure that the pencil lines are right before moving on to the next stage of a picture. I count my blessings that my first internationally published work featured over thirty pencil drawings giving me the chance to express myself purely in this medium.
